2.1 Delivery of our gift card issuing solution

If you are a contact person at a company that uses our gift card issuing solution, we process information about your name, your work contact details (address, phone number and email address), and your user ID and password (in encrypted form). The legal basis for this processing is Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) Article 6(1)(b), as the processing is necessary for us to provide our solution and manage our customer relationship, including billing.

2.2 General business administration

We process name and business contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address), as well as information about trade history and previous communication about (contact persons at) our customers, suppliers and other business partners.

The legal basis for this processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(f), as the processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in the effective operation of our business, including being able to easily get in touch with customers, suppliers and business partners.

3. Recipients

We transfer the data to our suppliers of administrative IT systems who are data processors for us. This transfer does not entail a transfer of data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

As far as contact persons at our customers are concerned, user ID and password information (in encrypted form) will be transferred to Amazon Web Services (AWS), which hosts our solution for issuing gift cards. Data is located on servers within the EU/EEA, but due to Amazon’s support model, it cannot be ruled out that in certain cases the information may be accessed by employees of Amazon companies or partners located outside the EU/EEA. You can see an overview of the countries in question here.

As a basis for such transfers, we have concluded EU Standard Contractual Clauses (EU Standard Contractual Clauses) with Amazon, cf. Article 46(2) GDPR.
